Donating

Interested in using Givsum to donate to a charity or opportunity? And yes! Your donation to an opportunity goes directly to the charity that created the opportunity.

Search

Click the Search icon to open up the search panel. Enter the name of the Charity and click on the corresponding Givsum Button. Then, click "Donate" on the menu to bring up the donation form. If this is your first donation or purchase with Givsum, you will need to enter your credit card information. Otherwise, you can just enter the amount and click "Donate."

Activity Feed

Most items on your activity feed will include a Givsum Button with the ability to donate to the indicated charity. Making a donation this way will make your action "inspired by" the user who took the initial action. So, if you saw a friend gave a $10 donation to a charity, and you want to do the same, you can do it quickly and easily via the corresponding activity item.

Charity Profile

If you are on a charity's profile page, you will see a "Donate" button at the top right of the page. Click the "Donate" button to bring up the donation form.
